One Hartal day has gone!
What was it for??? Who cares! All
that matters is that we got a leave... doing nothing, going nowhere...
It is heard a lot that, keralites are
becoming more lazier, everyone is longing for a holiday, not just any holiday
but specifically a 'hartal'... so that they can be at home doing nothing! You
won't find lazy people like this anywhere...etc.
Now my question is , when do we take
rest?
Children rest only when they are
tired, youth may take rest if he has nothing to do...
What about an adult house holder???
He is more responsible than
the above mentioned two categories. He might have a family...
Would he be able to take rest if his children are crying out of
hunger??? Then no matter whoever announces a hartal, whatever be the reason he
will have to go out and find food; provided he is a responsible father/
guardian.
So when we ‘say’ everybody loves
hartal, doesn't that imply we have enough to spend a day doing no job.... Isn't
it a good sign that our standard of life is improving?!(I wouldn't say 100%
Keralites like hartal, since still there are people who live on daily wages,
but anyway we are developing...)
Doubter: Well,
you are saying that the ‘laziness’ implies our standard of life is improving… I’m asking, does it
say you ‘can’ be lazy. Do you realize we loss crores on every hartal!
